Video: Feel Your Best Fitness- June Workout Challenge

This months challenge is designed to build a stronger core, a super-set of three 'abs' plus three plank exercises.

A stronger core will enable you to have better balance and stability, allowing you to have more control and decrease your risk of injury.

This challenge doesn't require equipment or a large amount of space, it is perfect for a winters day when you only have small undercover area at home or close by.

Start with twenty crunches, then go into a side plank (left) for one minute. Straight into twenty bicycle crunches then one minute side plank (right). Next you go straight into twenty per side alternating leg lowers, then into a elbow plank and hold for as long as you can, aiming for 1-3 minutes. Rest for 30 secs to a minute then repeat the set 3 times.

Remember to warm up and stretch to cool down to minimise any muscle cramps and soreness. A sufficient warm up could include a 5 minute walk/jog, leg swings, arm circles, body weight squats and star jumps, or any or your favourite cardio based moves to get all your muscles warmed up so you prevent any injuries.
